We have fun throughout the year and especially on Run-A-Muk and Festival weekends, and we would love to have you be a part of it. We have several options and opportunities. Below is the list of areas and projects that we need your help. Once you find the projects, you would like to volunteer for, simply click the appropriate link and select your schedule

Office Volunteer

The Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival office is bustling with activity as we finalize the details for Mukilteo’s Biggest Event of the Year! We have several activities and projects that include coordinating the Military & First Responders Appreciation Dinner, the VIP Sponsor Dinner, purchasing, parade registration and line-up, communicating with sponsors and vendors, advertising, graphic design, promotion and more….

 As a volunteer, you can decide which activities you would like to work on, and for how long. You are welcome for just two hours, four hours or all day.

Prep the park – On Thursday evening we will measure and mark booth spaces in the park.

Place signs and barriers around the park on Thursday evening

VIP Area Setup Thursday evening – Setup tables and chairs for Military/First Responders and VIP Sponsor dinners

Information Booth

Traffic Control at the main entrance (Front Street & 525)

Gatekeeper at the entrance to the Diamond Knot lot

Assist at the Bus Pickup area

Assist with setup in the park Friday – (Prior to festival start time)

VIP area – Setup for dinners and clean up after (centerpieces, table linens, etc)

Empty trash bins in the food area

Maintain the Public Eating Area

Help in the Children’s Area

Grounds Breakdown Sunday afternoon

Signs – Place signs and banners around town

Parade Street Marking – Measure and paint entry numbers along the parade line-up area

Parade Setup – Place check-in directional signs and setup check-in locations with tents, tables and chairs

Parade Traffic Control – Help along the parade route during the parade

Parade Breakdown/Clean-up – Collect directional signs and check-in station supplies

Floater – Serve as a floater throughout the park assisting where needed and when stationed volunteers would like a short break.
