Terms and Conditions
Setup
Set-up is From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Set up should be completed before marketplace business hours begin @ 4:00PM. Enter Lighthouse Park via Front St, Mukilteo, check in at the front gate to obtain your parking pass and directions to your booth location.
1. Be open and have booth personnel available: Friday, September 11th, 2026 – 4:00pm-7:00pm; Saturday, September 12th, 2026 – 11:00 am to 7:00 pm; Sunday, September 13th, 2026 – 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; or as approved by the Festival Director.
2. The sale of water, soft drinks or any type of beverages or food including candy will not be allowed.
3. Giveaways must be branded with organization’s logo. NO consumable giveaway items (unless pre-approved)
4. Donations are ONLY OK with $100 booth fee.
5. Comply with federal, state and local laws.
6. Clean your own area as per inspection by the Festival Director. Throw all garbage and debris into dumpsters NOT the garbage cans by your booth or throughout the site.
7. Restrict all activities and advertising matter to space assigned.
8. Abide by all conditions, rules and regulations written or verbally, made by Festival Director or designated representative at any time.
9. LIABILITIES: It is agreed the ASSOCIATION (Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association), in granting this contract, is not employing or in any manner assuming responsibility for the acts of the Agency or its associates. The BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION agrees to operate the booth in a safe and tasteful manner, and to comply with the laws or regulations of the Association, the State of Washington, the County of Snohomish and the City of Mukilteo and to obtain any and all necessary permits and licenses required by the STATE, COUNTY OF SNOHOMISH AND THE CITY OF MUKILTEO.
10. SOUND DEVICES: BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION may not use or have on site any sound amplifying device without the written permission of the Festival Director.
11. BUBBLE-MAKING MACHINES: No bubble-making machines are allowed on the grounds of Lighthouse Park.
12. DAMAGES: ASSOCIATION (Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association) assumes no responsibility for damages to goods or property of BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION arising out of or suffered, directly or indirectly, in connection with this contract or use of the premises.
13. CLEAN UP: BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION must leave their assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
14. SUBLETTING PROHIBITED: BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION shall not sublet or assign any privilege or portion of the space covered by this agreement.
15. TERMINATION BY ASSOCIATION: ASSOCIATION (Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association) may terminate this agreement and the privileges granted by it: A. At any time ASSOCIATION (Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association) in its discretion determines a need for the premises, which is inconsistent with use and occupancy by BUSINESS/ORGANIZATIONB. Upon violation of any term or condition of this agreement by BUSINESS/ORGANIZATION.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington, County of Snohomish, City of Mukilteo. Any lawsuit regarding it must be brought in Snohomish County. This festival is held outdoors on natural terrain. Sometimes set-up can be delayed due to wet ground and weather.
The Work
All art and artisan products must be original work (no mass production products permitted).
Artist teams are permitted. The names of all artists on a team must be listed in application.
Edibles
All food items must be pre-packaged and a food handler’s permit is required on site. No cooking or unpackaged edibles permitted in the marketplace.
Booths must fit within the boundaries of your booth assignment.
Booths should be anchored to withstand Northwest weather conditions and strong winds off the sound. Booths cannot be staked into the ground, they must be weighted. The Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival Association (MLFA) assumes no liability.
All non-corner booths must be erected with three enclosed sides (rear and sides). Corner booths must be erected with two closed sides. After market hours, all open sides of all booths must be covered, thus enclosing all sides of the booth during off hours.
Power and Lighting
There is no electricity in the Marketplace area.
Personal generators and strobe or flashing lights are not permitted.
- I understand that I must have proof of current vehicle insurance to be permitted entry into the park.
- I understand that I cannot remain in the park overnight.
- I understand that I am responsible for obtaining insurance for my booth/ products. MLFA does not assume liability for damage due to weather, or product theft.
- I am responsible to obtain any necessary licenses and permits for my booth or products.
- If selling edibles, I understand that all food items must be pre-packaged, and that no cooking is permitted.
- If selling edibles, I understand that I must obtain the proper permits for my products/booth and be prepared to present those permits to the health department at the Festival.
- I understand that I must provide my own weights or sandbags to secure my booth appropriately on a blacktop surface.
- I will set up my booth prior to 2pm on Friday, and my booth will be open and staffed during the designated Lighthouse Festival Marketplace business hours.
- I give permission to the MLFA to use and provided or publicly available images of my work for promotional purposes.
- I will not sublet any portion of my assigned space.
- I will conduct my activities in a tasteful manner in compliance with federal, state, and local law.
- The MLFA Director reserves the right to close any booth and/or require removal of any product that is not representative of those applications submitted.
- If the MLFA must terminate this agreement due to a violation of these terms and conditions, there will be no refunds issued
